Sheraton Palo Alto Hotel

The conference has reserved a limited number of rooms at The Sheraton Palo Alto Hotel for $299/night plus applicable taxes and fees (15.5% occupancy tax & 0.195% California tourism tax). Reservations can be made by calling 1(800) 937-8461 or via email at SheratonReservations@pahotel.com or via this booking link  Rooms are available from Sunday, July 9th to Wednesday, July 12th (3-night stay).

Reservation bookings must include the following information:

  • Guest Name
  • Arrival/Departure Date
  • Address
  • Phone Number
  • Group Name: PolMeth Conference

To guarantee a reservation, one must give a credit card number and expiration date. Limited rooms are available. Reservations must be made by Thursday, June 8th, 2023.

On-Campus Stanford Housing

The conference has reserved a block of rooms on-campus at Escondido Village Graduate Residences, which is a 15 minute walk from the Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center. 

Rooms will be assigned based on availability. 3-day room packages for $750.00 are available (includes room per night, fees and taxes, and breakfast/dining package). An additional night before or after the conference may also be booked.

The 3-day room package is for apartment style accommodations:

Premium Studio: 1-bedroom, private bathroom, and kitchen

Junior Premium: 2-bedroom, 2 private bathrooms, and shared kitchen

Premium Double: 2-bedroom, 2 private bathrooms, shared kitchen and dining room

Reservation bookings must be paid through the PolMeth Cambridge registration site by Thursday, June 8th, 2023. An additional night before or after the conference may be booked in addition to the three day conference package (please note that conference registration closes May 15). There may be limited availability to book this lodging option so please do so early.

Please note the following information will need to be provided regarding your booking:

  • Guest First and Last Name
  • Gender
  • Emergency Contact First and Last Name
  • Emergency Contact phone number

Check-In time is July 9th at 3PM; Check-Out time is July 12th at 11AM. Once you arrive on-campus for the conference, you must check in at EVGR's service center at 735 Campus Drive Stanford, CA 94305. The front desk is open daily from 8am-6pm. To check in, you must provide your last name and conference name.

Those who are staying on-campus must take a rapid test and test negative for COVID-19 24 hours before arriving.
